Summary
Parasol was engaged by Generation Ghana to lead the mobilization campaign for their GROW training program targeting unemployed youth aged 18–35, with a focus on female candidates. Within just three weeks, our team exceeded all outreach and application targets—delivering 2770 applicants (vs. a target of 900) through a multi-channel, data-tracked mobilization effort.
Objectives
Generate at least 1,000 high-quality applications
Ensure a minimum of 300 pre-qualified candidates
Prioritize 70–100% female representation in applicants
Our Approach
Outreach Channels: WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn
Tracking: Unique UTI links for each platform to monitor source-level application traffic
Community Mobilization:
Shared custom application assets within the Parasol WhatsApp network (500+ members)
Disseminated links via our email list of 3,000+ subscribers
Social Media Campaigns:
Launched organic and paid ads on Instagram
Used targeted posts to drive urgency and awareness
Last-Mile Push: Final blitz week focused on retargeting undecided applicants
Results
Total applications: 2,770 (vs. target of 900)
Female applicants: 1,259 (vs. target of 630)
Learners successfully enrolled: 15*
